🌊 《When Heaven Strikes: The Ten Plagues of Egypt》

— A Literary Devotional Narrative in English

Egypt was proud.
Pharaoh was immovable.
The gods of the Nile, sun, and sky stood tall in temples and hearts.

But in the silence of rebellion,
God began to speak—
not with words,
but with wonders.

Plague One: Blood

Moses raised his staff.
The Nile turned red—thick, foul, lifeless.
Egypt’s lifeline became its curse.
Yet Pharaoh’s heart hardened.

Plague Two: Frogs

They filled the beds, bowls, and ovens.
What was sacred became disgusting.
Still, Pharaoh begged…
then refused.

Plague Three: Gnats

Dust turned to irritation.
Priests could not stand clean.
Even the magicians whispered:

“This is the finger of God.”

Still—no change.

Plague Four: Flies

Swarms invaded palaces.
The gods of protection stood silent.

Plague Five: Livestock

Cattle died.
Egypt’s wealth collapsed.
Yet the Israelites' animals remained untouched.
God was drawing a line.

Plague Six: Boils

Even Pharaoh’s magicians could not stand.
Their pride blistered.
Still, the king would not bow.

Plague Seven: Hail

Fire and ice rained from heaven.
Trees shattered. Fields flattened.
God was not whispering anymore—He was roaring.

Plague Eight: Locusts

They devoured what was left.
Egypt trembled.
But Pharaoh clung to his throne tighter than to truth.

Plague Nine: Darkness

For three days,
a darkness so thick it could be felt.
But in Goshen—light.
God was making Himself clear.

And still—Pharaoh refused.

So came the final plague.
The one Moses had warned from the start.

Plague Ten: Death of the Firstborn

At midnight,
a cry rose from every Egyptian home.

Not a house without mourning.
Not a heart untouched.

But the Hebrew homes—
marked with blood—
stood in peace.

Judgment had passed.
Mercy had prevailed.

And Pharaoh, crushed by grief, whispered:

“Go. Take your people.
Leave Egypt.”
